Thingies I.
I really don't feel like writing long posts and stuff, so I will just post random facts, news and stories.
- I've finally done all the paperwork needed for Dutch bank account. That means I'll be able to actually pay without cash soon! Yeah, no more bills and coins, just my bank card (just a crappy Maestro, but screw that, at least something). I really hate the look on Dutch cashiers' faces when they are telling me, that my internationally accepted MasterCard is practically useless here.
- Second week of classes has just started. And we already have about 3 assignments. Hurray!
- Kindleeeeeeeeee. Yes, that's right, I have ordered my own Kindle, and I had two reasons for that. Firstly, I want to read Czech books without the need of having them here. Secondly, there is gonna be a lot of reading for my classes, and I don't like reading longer texts on my laptop screen. 1+1=2, and Kindle is ideal for me. Now I just need to wait till it is available again, which is estimated to be in the middle of September.
- After like 16 years, I have been to Rotterdam again. Not that I would remember my previous visit, but this time I have really enjoyed it. And the bike ride to and from Rotterdam was also nice. Some photos are @ Facebook, so some of you might have already seen them. For the rest of you, sorry, I guess you won't be able to see our gangsta poses or Gundam statue. Btw., we have seen Rod Stewart there!
- I'm glad that even Dutch officials now admit that it is really cold outside - the heating system is finally on, so there is a possibility that my sickness will disappear.
- And last, but not least, I have injured myself. I fell of my bike (Yeah, I guess you are thinking something like "You suck, dude!" right now), and I ripped my palm. The injury itself is not deep or big, but it is located on such stupid place, that every time I move my hand, or just my fingers, the wound bends and opens. That means more time till it gets better. Dammit:(
